5″ gauge ‘ROYAL SCOT’ Locomotive

This 5″ gauge ‘ROYAL SCOT’ model is to the rebuilt design with the taper boiler and the later design of tender. The model is finished to exhibition standard and has for a number of years been on display in the owners lounge.

However it has been a working model and has past boiler history and was in use until receiving the current superb paint finish and lining. Finished as ‘ROYAL SCOT the first of the class, the detail on this model is excellent and includes the fully detailed nameplates on the centre splashers and the front mounted bell which is engraved with the wording that was carried on this item.

The model is finished in the lined LMS maroon livery she received at Crewe works priory to here preservation by Butlins at Skegness. Although not a period colour finish this is how the owner remembers the locomotive when it was later based with A.Bloom at Diss and has run in preservation for a short time since.

If you are seriously interested in this model please make initial contact with View Models as this item is currently stored out of the UK and arrangements will have to be made to make it available for viewing.                                                                                                      £16500.00
